Saturday November, 12. Pick an awesome show any awesome show

Thank God I work tonight because there are just too many shows to choose from. Some of the best bands in the DFW area are playing throughout Dallas and Fort Worth so get out there and support your community (or go to the one non-local show I mention. Well technically  by going to the local venue you are supporting your local community. OK am I rambling? let's move on).

If you want to head to Dallas, well just flip a coin or something because it's a tough choice.

At the Granada Rhett Miller, Sarah Jaffe, and the O's are playing a benefit for cystic fibrosis. So, not only will this show be amazing but the money goes towards a good cause. Hey maybe you can write off the ticket price?

At Dada Fate Lions, Calhoun, and Little Black Dress. Fate Lions were one of my favorites at the Fort Worth Weekly music awards showcase as well as on the CD.

 The only non local show that I have heard about that should be bahmazing is A.A.Bondy  at the Prophet Bar. Most of his other tour dates were canceled so we ( the dfw area) should feel special.

If you want to stay in Fort Worth you should go to 8.0's to see Seryn, The Orbans, and Telegraph Canyon. They are closing out the Lone Star International Film Festival. It's only five bucks. So you have no excuse not to go especially if you haven't seen any of these guys yet. This is some of the best Indie Folk in town.
